Fit To Print is a tile-laying game for the whole family. Players simultaneously collect newspaper tiles, stacking them on their desks until they think they have what they need to make the perfect front page.
Race to assemble the most newsworthy front page in Fit to Print. Each player becomes an editor in the woodland town of Thistleville, collecting articles, photographs and advertisements for a folding newspaper board. The challenge is to balance good reporting with revenue and layout requirements while filling the available page space cleanly across three hectic days.
In the real time game, everyone gathers newspaper tiles simultaneously and stacks them on a three dimensional desk without arranging the final page. When an editor has collected enough material, they call Layout and begin fitting the chosen pieces around a centrepiece. Calling Print finishes the page and can secure an earlier choice of centrepiece for the next round, but unused tiles and empty spaces can reduce the result.
More than 100 unique newspaper tiles, six characters with individual abilities and three decks of Breaking News cards vary the puzzle from session to session. Groups that prefer a calmer structure can use Slo Mode, drafting from a shared market in turns, while Puzzle Mode challenges players to find the highest scoring arrangement from a fixed tile set. Solo play and competitive games for up to six editors are both supported.
